3D scanning was the perfect fit for documenting the interior of this theatre prior to it undergoing renovations and re-design. With limited access due to deteriorated conditions on site, scanning enabled the large volumes of space, multiple complex curves, angles and slopes to be quickly captured in a day’s work. The processed and aligned scan data was used as a basis for an accurate Revit model of existing conditions.
