Instrument and Hand Tool Calibration
Laser Trackers | Portable Arms | Laser Scanners | Theodolite | Total Stations | SMRs
Eliminating factors that may provide inaccurate data plays a very important role in any quality control department. Let’s take that process a step further. While we stress the importance of instrument calibrations, we also stress the crucial step of continuing those calibration techniques on an annual or semi-annual basis, depending on the use and application of the instrument. Calibrating your measuring instrument on a set schedule will minimize the chance for inaccurate measurements and remains a fundamental aspect of the instrumentation design.
Three Major Components of Measuring Instrument Calibrations:
Measuring Instrument Calibration Services
Providing calibration and inspection services for: Laser Trackers, Portable Arms, Laser Scanners, Totals Stations, CMMs, Levels, Autocollimators and so much more. Most of our calibration services can be performed onsite at the customers facility or at our ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Laboratory.
Precision Hand Tool Calibrations
As an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory, we know what it takes to consistently meet industry standard requirements. With our highly competitive pricing, and quick turn-around times, ECM provides you with top quality service. ECM is equipped with an on-site calibration lab and field service technicians that offer you the flexibility to send equipment to our facility, or have ECM come to you. In addition to your larger measurement instrument calibrations, we also accommodate precision hand tools as well as other various machine tool calibrations.
Choosing an ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Lab
Originally issued back in 1999 by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the 17025 Accreditation is the single most important standard for calibration and testing laboratories worldwide. Any laboratory accredited to this international standard has demonstrated that they are technically competent and able to produce precise and accurate calibration data. You may be thinking, “What’s the big deal?” The difference between a company stating they perform instrument calibrations and a company that is actually accredited to do so is simple, QUALITY. You are absolutely right in thinking that you can get your instruments calibrated anywhere, “If they say they calibrate, they must know what they are doing right?” WRONG! Companies that are accredited to the 17025 standard are not only regularly evaluated to the most rigorous of technical evaluations, but they have to maintain the highest of quality standards within their quality management system to comply with the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.

This laboratory is accredited in accordance with the recognized International Standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017 General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.
SMR Certifications with Ultrasonic Optic Cleaner
In addition to calibrating your measurement instruments, we will make sure your SMR is thoroughly cleaned using an ultrasonic cleaner. The High Power Ultrasonic Cleaner is designed to remove grease, dust or other contaminants from surfaces and cavities of small objects.
