This suspension bridge requires ongoing maintenance to withstand the effects of traffic and weather. The entire length of the roadway was scanned for the engineering company providing the work program for repair and restorations services. The accurate and comprehensive 3d scan model produced was used to create a 2d CAD map of the bridge’s surface, enabling the Bridge Authority to have a visual digital means to record locations of all current and future roadway repairs.
