We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

CMM CALIBRATION MANAGER
ECM Global - Wixom, MI

East Coast Metrology is seeking an experienced CMM Calibration Technician to help grow our CMM Calibration and repair services department. ECM is an industry-leading metrology services company that specializes in high precision dimensional measurements. ECM uses the latest technology, such as Laser Trackers and Portable CMM Arms, and software to obtain, analyze, and report dimensional data.
 
Candidate should have 3+ years of experience in calibrating CMMs. Candidate must be able to read prints, understand GD&T, use typical shop hand tools like mics, calipers, and height gages. We are looking for individuals with good mechanical skills and aptitude, and be comfortable and effective communicating both in the engineering office and on the shop floor.
 
Knowledge of multiple CMM software’s is a plus. Machine shop or CNC experience is a bonus as well.
 
This position is a Managerial position, as this is our company’s second location so prior managerial experience is a plus, but not necessary.
 
Job Type: Full-time
This position requires about 25% - 50% Travel

ENTRY-LEVEL METROLOGIST / ENGINEER
ECM Global - Topsfield, MA

East Coast Metrology is seeking recently graduated or imminently graduating engineers to inspect, measure, and reverse engineer products for a wide variety of industries, including nuclear, medical, aerospace, and automotive. ECM uses the latest technology, such as Laser Trackers and Portable CMM Arms, and software to obtain, analyze, and report dimensional data.

New hires will be given on the job training with our techniques, equipment, and software. Eventually they will be assigned to independent projects, representing the company, measuring subject objects, analyzing and reporting the results. The jobs each engineer will work on are hand-picked to fit the individual’s interests and strengths. The position requires 30-70% travel, depending on our customer’s requirements. Although most of our work is in the eastern United States, our staff has worked all over North and South America, Europe, and Asia.

Likely candidates will have or be completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering. We are looking for individuals with good mechanical skills and aptitude, and be comfortable and effective communicating both in the engineering office and on the shop floor. Familiarity with BIM, AutoDesk Suite, Revit, Large Volume Scanners, 3D CAD, GD&T, MS Office, would be very helpful. Please US citizens only
