We Bring our A2LA Accredited Laboratory to You

It’s the end of the month, production is high, you need those hot jobs inspected and out the door. You are aware of your equipment needing calibration, but weeks of downtime in production is less than appealing. Why ship your equipment out when your equipment can be calibrated at your facility by an ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited laboratory?

Why Choose Onsite Calibration Services?

The sheer amount of time it takes to ship your inspection equipment out, get it calibrated and shipped back to you is reason enough to look into the possibility of implementing onsite calibrations. Not only are you losing money on valuable production/inspection time, but most likely you are also having to rent equipment to continue this process while waiting for your equipment to return, costing you even more money. Do you have multiple pieces of equipment needing calibration? That’s an even bigger headache, multiplying your shipping costs and increasing your risk for damage to equipment during shipping.

Onsite calibration shortens your lead time, reduces risk for shipping damage and keeps parts moving through the inspection process.

  • Typical Laboratory Calibration Turnaround = Weeks
  • ECM Laboratory Calibration Turnaround = 5-7 Days
  • ECM Onsite Calibration Turnaround = 1-2 Days

Does your equipment have to be calibrated by an accredited laboratory?  No problem, ECM is accredited by A2LA.  Our in-house ISO/IEC 17025 Accreditation extends beyond our laboratory and covers the most common onsite calibrations we provide on a global level. You can feel confident knowing your customers are receiving parts that have been inspected with 17025 calibrated equipment, meeting industry certification requirements.

How Do We Do It?

The hassle of shipping your equipment out and the paperwork involved is enough to make you procrastinate. Tack on the need to rent a piece of equipment while yours is out of commission and no one has time for that! Onsite calibrations take all the work off your plate and places it in our capable hands – industry-certified hands. Not only do we provide you with onsite calibrations, but our onsite technicians are certified to the Coordinate Metrology Society’s Certifications, which means their skills are validated by the industry’s most complete and practical body of knowledge. Our technicians arrive at your facility with standards traceable to the International System of Units (SI) through a National Metrological Institute (NMI) or through an ISO/IEC 17025:2005/17 Accredited Laboratory to facilitate the calibration. With each equipment calibration, you receive a calibration certification sticker that day.  A digital and hard copy of the Calibration Certificate follows the next day.

Quality Starts with Annual Measuring Instrument Calibrations

Eliminating factors that may provide inaccurate data plays a very important role in any quality control department. Let’s take that process a step further. While we stress the importance of instrument calibrations, we also stress the crucial step of continuing those calibration techniques on an annual or semi-annual basis.

Companies accredited to the 17025 standard are not only regularly evaluated to the most rigorous of technical evaluations, but they have to maintain the highest of quality standards within their quality management system to comply with the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.
