National Physical Laboratory
The National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is involved with new developments in metrology, such as researching metrology for, and standardizing, nanotechnology. In partnership with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), ECM offers a range of basic and advanced courses for 3D measuring instruments and metrology software that provide formal instruction and practical sessions designed to enhance the learning experience in dimensional measuring.
Participants learn various types of dimensional measurement techniques and processes using the instrument correctly and with confidence. They will also be shown the tools for optimizing measurement processes, analyzing measurement results, and managing measurement decision risks. Emphasis is placed on various aspects of measurement such as dimensional geometry and geometric properties as well as instruction on drawing practices and tolerance.
