ECM Adds Keyence Portable Wide-Area CMMs to ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited Calibration Offerings

ECM has partnered with Keyence to offer their customers two regional ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories in the U.S. for their annual instrument calibrations. With quick turnarounds, and competitive pricing, Keyence customers can be assured of the highest measurement integrity. Our certified metrologists provide calibration and repair services for Laser Trackers, Portable Arms, Laser Scanners, Total Stations, CMMs, Levels, and Autocollimators of any name brand make and model. Most of our calibration services can be performed onsite at the customers facility or at any of our regional laboratories.

The WM Series Coordinate Measuring Machine is a new handheld CMM designed to perform accurate 3D and GD&T measurements over a large 15m (49 ft) area. Similar to the XM Series, the unit is portable and shop-floor ready, so measurements can be taken in any location including in the machine tool. The unit also automatically records measurement data and creates detailed inspection reports. The image showcases our latest WM-3000 model which uses a wireless, handheld probe with on-screen visual guidance to have a single operator easily inspect parts with complex dimensions or would normally require multiple inspectors due to part size.
