ECM Hosts Complimentary CMS MIT Assessment Test at Quality Show 2023

null

ECM will host the Coordinate Metrology Society’s Metrologist in Training (MIT) Assessment Test at this year’s Quality Show. The Metrologist in Training test is a short, low-risk practice test. The test taker will experience the same online test environment, and encounter questions distributed across the same body of knowledge as the actual CMS Level 1 – Certification Exam. The test score is broken down by category within the body of knowledge. Results are presented as an overall score, and a score for each of the five broad areas of knowledge listed below. A high-score on the MIT test is an indicator that the test taker is on the right path to becoming an expert dimensional metrologist.

*The Metrologist in Training (MIT) test is not a pre-requisite to the CMS Certification.

The Presentation Reviews the Five Broad Areas of Knowledge Considered in the Assessment

  • Interpreting engineering documents.
  • Measuring equipment and environmental effects.
  • Planning measurements and documentation
  • Measurement Operations
  • Ethics and Analysis

Benefits of Taking the Metrologist in Training Assessment Test
