It is extremely important to keep your laser tracker SMRs clean. It is also important to handle your SMR with care as they are expensive. 

Three Ways to Clean your SMR:

  • Use canned air to eliminate dust
  • Spray water on it, then follow with spraying canned air
  • Soak in a small amount of rubbing alcohol, then take a Q-tip and gently clean around the surface of the SMR until spot-cleaned.
